33-year-old man, Reymundo Ricardo Flores, was shot multiple times by officers
during a pursuit in Floresville, Texas. Flores was wanted out of Guadalupe
County. This happened after he had violated his probation after an arrest for
evading with a vehicle. At that point, Flores attempted to shoot at law
enforcement officers with a handgun, and officers returned fire immediately.
Floresville ISD police immediately locked down the school, placing two other
schools in secure status. It is unclear how many shots were fired and which
officers fired. Based on the report, Flores was taken to the Brooke Army Medical
Center with critical injuries, where he died.
